The Vortex; an interactive sound installation made of metal pipes served as a protective barrier to one of Jeddah’s eldest buildings. The pipes are arranged in a way that they swing left and right clicking percussively with each other, autonomously. The installation engaged visitors of Jeddah Season in a playful yet controlled madness of sound, drawing them to join this orchestra of celebration.
